National BioService was the first Russian biobank to become an organizational member of ISBER (International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories) in 2016.
ISBER is a worldwide professional biobanking organization that defines technical, legal, ethical, and managerial rules for biobanks and biorepositories. ISBER unites all interested parties as government, academia, the private sector, and manufacturers into the society and gives its members from over 30 countries diverse opportunities for networking, education, and innovation.
The key activity of ISBER is providing a forum for the dissemination of state-of-the-art policies, processes, and research findings. ISBER’s forum helps its members to showcase innovative technologies, products, and services.
Since 2017 National BioService has been the only official partner of ISBER in Russia.
